Opposite Action and Depression: Behavioural Activation

In the following video we look how behvioural activation can help us improve our mood if we're feeling sad or depressed.

 

In addition to predicting beforehand and recording afterwards the levels of pleasure, accomplishment and social connection you experience, recording your mood and level of depression before and after doing the activity will also help you notice the effect behavioural activation is having, which might not always be apparent without tracking things in this manner.
