Feelings and Emotions While Meditating

In this meditation, we spent some time paying attention to our thoughts and feelings. We've already talked about the close connection between our feelings and emotions, and our bodies, and how we generally become aware of our feelings and emotions through our bodies. In this meditation we open our awareness up to any feelings and emotions we notice and pay attention to where and how we're experiencing them in our bodies.

In the last half of this session, we'll focus more on learning how to respond to aversion—an emotional reaction we talked about last week—as well as to other difficult thoughts or feelings that arise.
