Following Your Breath Worksheet

Spend a few minutes reflecting on your experience with the Counting Breaths and Measuring Breaths practices then answer the questions below:

  1. How well were you able to keep your attention focused on your breath? Did you find yourself often losing track of the counting or measuring?
  2. When you noticed your mind was no longer on your breathing, how difficult was it to return your attention back to your breath and resume counting our measuring?
  3. What, if anything, did you notice about your breathing or your breath as you followed it?
  4. When your mind wasn't on your breath, where was it? What were you thinking about or what was going through your mind?
